Only 10% of these reports provided us with a loss value – but this total still exceeded €966 million in product losses or the equivalent of more than €1.3 million of goods being stolen from facilities and modes of transport every 24 hours.
As TAPA EMEA members know, risks to cargo security and supply chain resilience are higher now than at any time. They are also more diverse, and they are increasing.
With a membership of over 900 companies in EMEA, TAPA EMEA is continuing to help manufacturers, logistics service providers, and other supply chain security stakeholders to minimise losses from their supply chains. We do this through our industry Standards, training programme, intelligence tools, and insights and networking events.
These organisations are also successfully mitigating risks and preventing losses with the support of the community of Security Service Providers which provide products and services designed to keep supply chains secure from attacks. TAPA EMEA’s Supply Chain Security Products & Services Guide 2024/25 provides an opportunity for our members to learn more about some of these leading service providers, including our 2024 Premier Partners and the exhibitors which supported our Annual Conference in Amsterdam.
As an industry association, TAPA EMEA cannot endorse any specific suppliers, but we encourage you to make your own assessments based on the information provided and encourage you to reach out to companies you believe can enhance the security of your supply chains.
We thank all the companies featured in our latest Guide for their support of the TAPA EMEA Family.
