In May, look out for our special Conference Preview edition of Vigilant magazine, which will introduce all our speakers and panellists and the supply chain resilience and security topics we’ll be discussing during our two days together in the Netherlands.
Here’s just a taster of what’s in store…
Christian Beuter, Head of Loss Prevention & Security Germany at Samsung SDS joins us to discuss the challenge of staying ahead of fraudsters and organised crime attacks in an ecommerce business and their threat to last mile deliveries.
Christian’s presentation will look at:
Open Source Intelligence specialist David Benford of Blackstage Forensics will ask delegates what they know about ‘Hostile profiling’ and the risks facing their supply chains from online data and devices?
He said: “Most of us think we are aware of vulnerabilities around social media, but these represent only part of the bigger picture. Different types of data connected to us can create opportunities for nefarious individuals to attack your supply chain, trace our homes and our family, friends, and even contact details and passwords.”
David will share his insight on digital privacy and security, demonstrating the methods used by third parties to digitally profile targets through online sources and how the types of data users, sometimes unwittingly, share online can create security vulnerabilities. He will also offer advice to help mitigate such attacks as he aims to increase delegates’ understanding of how online information is used by criminals to affect the supply chain and company employees & contractors as well as possible attack vectors derived from monitoring online data and smartphones, and how adversaries can profile targets and how to help mitigate this.
And, we’ll be welcoming Raluca Marian, Director EU Advocacy and General Delegate of the Permanent Delegation to the EU, IRU, with her presentation on ‘Resilience of the road transport sector at a crossroads.’
What do Manufacturers have to say about supply chain resilience?

Delegates will enjoy plenty of time to network during our coffee and lunch breaks on Days 1 & 2, plus at our Welcome Reception on 14 June and Conference Party on 15 June.
But, if you haven’t registered, you risk missing out on all of this! Over 85% of our delegate places are now taken – which means we have space left for less than 100 more registrations.
