G4S Academy states: ‘Austria’s advantageous geographical position renders it a crucial hub and central node for European logistics operations. Austrian logistics companies contribute substantially to the nation’s economic prosperity, employing approximately 11,000 individuals and generating over €30 billion in annual revenue. These companies also assume a critical responsibility in securing the country’s supply chains. A series of recent events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic from 2020-2022, the Russian war against Ukraine, and the resulting economic, social, and socio-political ramifications, have presented extraordinary organizational and security challenges for the logistics sector. In light of these developments, building resilience and adopting efficient risk management strategies have become essential in key logistics areas, including facilities, transportation, and parking.’
To tackle these rapidly growing challenges, G4S has organised a distinguished panel of domestic and international security experts to explore innovative solutions and strategies to enhance Austria’s resilience in the face of evolving supply chain threats and challenges.
