Delegates will also hear from members of the TAPA EMEA leadership team about the Association’s work to help companies secure their supply chains in South Africa. More speakers will be confirmed in the New Year. The regional conference will be followed on 8 March with an introductory FSR, TSR & PSR training for companies interested in adopting the TAPA Security Standards for their facilities and trucking operations.

“We hope our members in South Africa will support this event and members in Europe will encourage their local representatives to join us in Johannesburg. In our last 18-month Cargo Theft Report, we recorded cargo losses in 78 countries in EMEA. South Africa was number one. This event will discuss the causes of crime and, more importantly, help delegates learn about ways they can prevent losses and protect their workforces,” said Markus Prinz, TAPA EMEA’s Senior Manager, Standards & Training.

A limited number of small exhibition space will also be available. To find out more, contact info@tapaemea.org
