Registration is now open for TAPA EMEA’s next Remote Auditing Course for any members looking to increase their understanding of the Association’s Remote Virtual Auditing (RVA) Procedure for TAPA EMEA’s Security Standards.
The course will be delivered over two four-hour workshops on 26 August & 2 September 2022 and is for a maximum of 12 persons. Jeff Dowson, the trainer appointed by TAPA EMEA to deliver the course, is a leading independent auditing expert with longstanding experience of TAPA and other industry Standards. The course is not Standard-specific and supports any auditing discipline, combining theoretical and practical training. It culminates in a real-life audit to allow each participant to use the skills learned. A certificate will be issued on completion of the course.

- Perform a risk assessment to verify if remote auditing is feasible
- Plan an effective remote audit
- Prepare for the audit, create a remote audit plan, and plan routes for site audit tours
- Understand and use remote auditing techniques; photographs, auditing through screen shares, and synchronous and asynchronous video
- Become familiar with issues that can arise and learn how to solve them
- Optimise time usage to ensure a thorough and effective audit is conducted
