On May 10, TAPA EMEA was one of the exhibitors participating in the annual conference of its partner, the National Business Crime Solution (NBCS) in the United Kingdom. The event attracted over 200 delegates, including significant representation from law enforcement agencies and is already leading to follow-up opportunities for intelligence collaboration.
TAPA EMEA was represented at the NBCS conference by members Fred Woolley and Harry Hughes of FET Logistics, who provided information on the Association to delegates and demonstrated the new TAPA EMEA Intelligence System (TIS) tool.
From May 12-15, TAPA EMEA’s full-time team, led by Ap Boom, Chief Financial & Compliance Officer, and Markus Prinz, Senior Manager Standards & Training, were in Milan after accepting an invitation from Multiprotexion to present the Association from the company’s stand at Transpotec-Logitec 2022, one of the biggest transport and logistics events for businesses in Europe, the Mediterranean and Balkans.
And, this month ended with the Association’s participation in SIL Barcelona, the leading transport and logistics event in Southern Europe. As well as a presence in the exhibition hall, Markus Prinz addressed delegates on cargo crime trends in Spain and the supply chain resilience solutions TAPA EMEA offers. He was joined by representatives from two of the Association’s members, Carmen Nickstat, Director of Naeko Handling, and Daniel Garcia Caellas, Head of Safety, Risk Prevention-DPO at Desigual. “We are delighted to be attending events again and especially appreciative of the support we are receiving from our members to help us raise awareness of the cargo crime risks to supply chains in EMEA and the standards, training and intelligence solutions we can offer.
I especially want to thank FET Logistics, Multiprotexion, Naeko Handling and Desigual for their great support,” said Ap Boom.
