This financial loss is even worse than it sounds, because this value is based on only the 7.8% of the 58,661 cargo crime reports which provided us with any financial data. The losses for the remaining >92% of incidents remain unknown.
Over the space of these 546 days, TAPA EMEA collated intelligence on supply chain losses in 101 countries in EMEA, and an increasing number of these attacks were the work of Organised Crime Groups that see supply chains as a low risk, rich reward target. And, they will most certainly have been responsible for most of the major losses from facilities and modes of transport, which averaged €1,086,285.
The risk of cargo crime in the EMEA region is now at its highest-ever level but, across our region, TAPA EMEA members and others are ensuring their supply chain resilience with the support and solutions of a growing network of Security Service Providers.
TAPA EMEA’s Supply Chain Security Products & Services Guide 2026/27 introduces our members to many of these companies, including our 2026 Premier Partners and the other exhibitors who participated in our latest Annual Conference in Oberhausen. It provides an insight into their solutions as well as points of contact for further interaction.
All these suppliers are helping companies to improve their security, to manage and eliminate risks, to avoid losses, and to support their use of TAPA’s supply chain security Standards.
As a neutral industry association, TAPA EMEA cannot endorse specific suppliers, but we encourage you to make your own assessments to find out more about how the companies profiled in this Guide can improve your supply chain security.
