Andreas Seidel

Regional Director Security & Loss Prevention, EMEA
Amazon

Personal statement:
‘Throughout the past 9 years, I have engaged with members of the TAPA community noticing that our organisation provides a strong platform for partners to come together to raise the bar for the security of assets and our people throughout the End-2-End Supply Chain environment. The impact of COVID19 on our supply chains has changed the methods and techniques malicious actors deploy including the utilisation of the Cyber Environment. I have extensive experience in global supply chain, loss prevention, mitigation solutions, and risk methodologies which will enable me to add value to TAPA pushing for inclusive solutions addressing topics focusing on fraudulent pickups, Last Mile driver and goods security programmes, and the preparation of TAPA members in light of the Artificial Intelligence Directive of the EU.’

Personal statement:
‘After being an active member in various roles, I have been part of the Board of our Association since 2021. It has been a great experience to support the growth of TAPA EMEA and to make sure that members get the best service possible. On the one hand, we got more members, and, on the other hand, we are seen more and more as the best industry practice to fight supply chain thefts. Working on the long-term strategy and keeping an eye on the financial side of the association has been an interesting ride and is not over yet. Having said that, I want to support our association for another period on the Board.’
